About LeraPharm Inc.

LeraPharm

LeraPharm Inc. was founded in March of 2010 by Mike Dowling and Mark Priemer, the makers of Soulēra. Soulēra is a unique herbal adaptogen product developed to mitigate the effects of chronic stress. Dowling and Priemer recognized the ever-growing amount of stress in today's society and created an easy to use product that helps to combat its negative effects. LeraPharm treats Souléra as a pharmaceutical in that they conduct quality assurance programs to pharmaceutical standards. Over 3000 scientific studies support the positive health benefits of herbal adaptogens contained in Soulēra, combating the numerous ill-effects of stress. Soulēra is featured and sold on the Health and Nutrition Television Network (HNTV), of which Dowling and Priemer are co-directors. Soulēra is also sold to businesses and health care providers through their Direct to Work and Health Care Practitioner Programs.

Mike Dowling

Mike Dowling studied architectural engineering and German at the University of Oregon. He started his career in the food and dietary supplement business in the 1980's. At about the same time Dowling went on a business trip to Russia to discover the secret behind the success of Russian athletes and their performance. When befriending Russian scientists including Dr. I.I. Brekhman, as well as government officials, they introduced him to the long history and research studies behind the use of herbal adaptogens. It was at this point that Dowling learned more about the use of these plants and the positive effects they have on health and performance. In 2004, Dowling created the company Sunrise Global Trading to facilitate trade between Russia and the United States.

Mark Priemer

Mark Priemer earned his Masters Degree's in molecular biology and viral genetics and taught at the University of Toronto. After that, he began a business providing regulatory consulting and order fulfillment services in the nutraceutical industry in 1981 called MMP Enterprises. Priemer was introduced to Mike Dowling in 1993, who at the time needed help to import various products into Canada. Over the years Dowling shared his knowledge of adaptogens with Priemer and both recognized the numerous health benefits that these plants had on the Russian population. They wanted to share these advantages with others and this was the start of a great friendship and business partnership.
